On March 15, 2023, an "International Day" was held at Inakita High School. As part of the High School-University collaboration project, 6 international students and the Specially Appointed Assistant Professor Fawaz Bagoudou of Faculty of Agriculture participated in the event.

Using interesting and engaging ice-breaking and interview-style activities, high school students learnt about the international students' home countries life, culture, customs, and what they are studying in Japan. Items such as flags, national costumes were brought and presented to high school students in different groups. At the end, the students summarized what they learnt and made a great presentation in English.

Both international students and high school students seemed to have spent a fulfilling time together during this event which was meant to promote friendship through cross-cultural understanding.
