On August 27, 2024, Shinshu University, Faculty of Agriculture had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from the University of Brawijaya, Faculty of Animal Science, Indonesia. The delegation included Professor Marjuki, Associate Professor Eko Widodo, Professor V.M. Ani Nurgiartiningsih, and Assistant Professor Irida Novianti. This visit further solidifies the long-standing academic exchange relationship between the two institutions.

Since the signing of the inter-faculty exchange agreement in 2019, the two institutions have actively engaged in exchanges through the Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) program, alongside the dispatch and acceptance of students. In a reflection of the strengthening partnership, the agreement was elevated to an inter-university level in January 2024, followed by the establishment of a satellite office of Shinshu University at the University of Brawijaya in July of the same year.

During the visit, both parties engaged in fruitful discussions towards launching a double degree program, with an agreement expected in the near future. The ongoing collaboration in research and student exchange between the two institutions is set for further growth and development.

This visit reaffirms our commitment to fostering global partnerships that benefit both institutions and their students.
