The medical care required in the world is changing from "to cure diseases" to "to make people not get illness". The Diabetes and life style related disease which continue to be spread all over the world can become trigger to many serious diseases. We encourage basic and clinical research in order to contribute to realize the extension of healthy life span. And we are also conducting endocrinological reserch actively connecting to life style related disease.
To research pathology of diabetes, endocrinology and metabolism can lead to establishment of cause-based rather than symptomatic treatment, and this will open the gate of a hopeful future where people will be all healthy and live long.
