The new structure of the Graduate School of Medicine

Corresponding to the rapidly changing aging society, medical environment as well as disease structure, our Graduate School of Medicine is reorganized as of April 1, 2012 to the structure comprising two specialties (1. Medical Sciences and 2. Institute of Pathogenesis and Disease Prevention) from the previous structure composed of three specialties (1. Medical Sciences, 2. Institute of Organ Transplants, Reconstructive Medicine and Tissue Engineering and 3. Institute on Aging and Adaptation), in order to develop new fields of study and train the next generation highly skilled researchers, educators and technicians.
