A certificate of appreciation presentation ceremony was held for the donation to the Sho-ikai Study Abroad Scholarship
23.04.20
With the support of the doctors of Sho-ikai, the alumni association of the Shinshu University School of Medicine, the Sho-ikai Study Abroad Scholarship began in December 2021. From April 2022 to March 2023, we received donations from 16 doctors. Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart.
As support for international exchange, those who donate more than 300,000 yen at once will receive a certificate of appreciation from the Dean of the School of Medicine. A certificate of appreciation presentation ceremony was held on March 29, 2023. Dr. KOMIYAMA Yuichi (graduated in 1992) and Dr. INOUE Mitsuhiro (graduated in 1969, absent on the day) were presented by Prof. NAKAYAMA Jun, Dean of the School of Medicine.
In September 2022, for the first time, fifth-year medical students received the Sho-ikai Study Abroad Scholarship and were able to successfully complete the three-month overseas basic research training. Both doctors read the experiences of juniors who aspired to go abroad and were very pleased with their success.
In the future, we will continue to make effective use of the scholarships received from the doctors and hope to have even more students study abroad. We look forward to your continued support from seniors.
