Shinshu University's Faculty of Textile Science and Technology opened the Fiber Innovation Incubator, or Fii, to facilitate joint research by companies, faculty members, and students.
Companies can locate corporate research labs at the facility, which is equipped with a range of special experimental equipment so that occupants and users can take advantage of state-of-the-art technology to research and create new, innovative products.
