Assisted reproductive technologies such as IVF, ICSI, and embryo transfer provide hope for couples who desire children. Recent reports showing a decrease in male sperm counts emphasize the importance of ICSI. While effective sperm selection is vital for improving fertilization rates and reducing abnormalities, it currently depends on experience rather than clear criteria. Our research suggests the potential to identify viable sperm through mathematical analysis of morphology. Moreover, preserving fertility in adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer patients is critical. Our success in developing techniques for retrieving and culturing immature oocytes from excised ovaries in ovarian cancer cases enables both cancer treatment and fertility preservation, resulting in successful pregnancies and live births.headmorphologycancerpopulation
