We will attend EMSA2014(2014.7.6-9,Vienna, Austria)
EMSA2014 will be held in Vienna, Austria during July 6-9, 2014. EMSA is a biennial event which brings together engineers and scientists from universities, research institutions and industry who are active in the fields of nanomagnetism, magnetic materials, magnetic sensor and actuator technology. We will have two presentations.
1) TP62:Measurement and Comparison of Electromechanical Coupling Factors in Magnetostrictive Materials.
Hiroyuki Wakiwaka, Kunihisa Tashiro, Takanori Igarashi
2) TP68:Estimation of effective permeability for dumbbell-shaped magnetic cores
Kunihisa Tashiro, Hiroyuki Wakiwaka, Gen-ya Hattori
Both are related to magnetic materials for sensors and actuators. TP62 presents the comparison of GMM(Giant Magnetostrictive Material) and FeSiBPC(Glassy alloy) from the view point of electromechanical copuling factor. TP68 presents a novel approximations of demagnetizing factor and effective permeability for a non-elipsoidal magnetic core, dumbbell-shaped core.
* Emeritus Prof. Wakiwaka and Assoc. Prof. Tashiro will be attend this international conference.
