GEC Exchange Student Program

• Japanese Language Level：
  From beginner to advanced.
• Available Courses:
  Japanese Course offered by GEC, Japanese Language and Culture subjects offered by GEC
  General Studies subjects, Major subjects (Japanese syllabi only)
  Classes taken by many exchange student（English website only）.
• Certificate Requirements：
  Students must take at least 10 credits a year (5 credits for one-semester students) to complete the program.
• Maximum Enrollment:
  20 students/semester (40 students/year)
• Program term starts:
  Early April / Late September

• Program duration:
  One semester or two semesters (one year)
• Application Schedule:
  For Spring Inbound Students
  Application Guideline comes out: July in the previous year
  Application Deadline: End of October in the previous year
  For Fall Inbound Students
  Application Guideline comes out: January
  Application Deadline: End of April
• Application Documents：
  Each partner university has to send the following documents to GEC by the above deadline date. (Note: We do not accept direct application from students.)

  2. Exchange Student Program Application Package
  3. Academic Transcript
  4. Evidence of Japanese Language Proficiency（if available）
  5. Copy of Passport
  6. Facial photo
  7. Financial supporter's Certificate of Bank Statement，or Certificate of Scholarship Receipt
