Activity

　On March 22, 2016, researchers from Shinshu University, L’Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse-III and Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology met for a workshop on materials for electrochemical energy storage and conversion. The workshop was part of the three university inter-university cooperation agreement to seek new and exciting studies through collaboration between the bodies that would otherwise be difficult to resolve via individual studies.


Researchers from the Energy Storage Group at the Center for Energy and Environmental Science, Shinshu University joined with Professor Patrice Simon of L’Université Paul Sabatier-Toulouse III, who is also a distinguished visiting professor of Shinshu University, and Professor Katsuhiko Naoi and his researcher group from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology at the workshop. Each contributing member presented their latest ground-breaking results and possible new joint research topics were discussed.


Professors Bruce Dunn (UCLA, USA) and Yury Gogotsi (Drexel University, USA), both Shinshu University Distinguished Visiting Professors, also took part in the workshop and their feedback and comments livened up the discussion.
