"POAII", which will be a Local Center for Agriculture and Forestry Business

The faculty of agriculture of Shinshu University has founded Promotion Organization of Agricultural Innovation in Ina Valley for the purpose of matching the seeds by the university with the needs by the local enterprises, which would be potentially a center for agriculture and forestry businesses in the future. The general meeting for the establishment was held on October 23 in 2013. In the senses of both the academia and business, the significance of the agriculture should be reviewed when solving the problems on TPP and enhancing sixth industry. The activity aims to make there an academic and research initiative area taking advantage of the local features in ten to twenty years.
