Title of Fellow Bestowed on Professor Hiroyuki Wakiwaka of the Faculty of Engineering by the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan

The title of fellow has been bestowed on Specially Appointed Professor Hiroyuki Wakiwaka of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Faculty of Engineering by the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan. This is in recognition of the significant achievements of Specially Appointed Professor Hiroyuki Wakiwaka in methods of evaluation and measurement of properties in the field of linear drive technology in the activities of the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan. The fellowship system was started in the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan (number of members: 24,000 as of 2014) from July 2006, and to date 105 members have been recognized as fellows.
