Specially-appointed Professor Morinobu Endo of the Institute of Carbon Science and Technology is awarded the Title of "JSAP Fellow"

Specially-appointed Professor Morinobu Endo of the Institute of Carbon Science and Technology was awarded the title of “JSAP Fellow” by the Japan Society of Applied Physics.

This was in recognition of his discovery of vapor grown carbon fibers and research relating to their application.

The title of “JSAP Fellow” is awarded to those researchers who have made major contributions to the development of applied physics through ongoing activities at the Japan Society of Applied Physics. This award has been running since fiscal year 2007, and this is the 9th award. He is the second person from Shinshu University to have received the award following Specially-appointed Professor Keigo Hoshikawa who won the 6th in fiscal year 2012.
