At the International Society for Nutraceuticals and Functional Foods (ISNFF) 2017 held at the Gunsan Saemangeum Convention Center (Gunsan, Korea) from October 22 to 26, the research results of Laboratory of Food Chemistry (Institute of Agriculture) awarded Poster Award.
This study revealed that the introduction of alkyl chain into a ferulic acid increased the inhibitory effect on amyloid fibril formation. These findings will give a novel insight about the development of therapeutic agents for neurodegenerative diseases.
