Professor Skrbic is an alumnus of our School of Medicine in the field of pharmacology and conducted research here under Professor CHIBA Shigetoshi between 1989 and 1990. Emeritus Professor Chiba attended the meeting as a surprise guest, and it was an emotional reunion.
After an exchange of commemorative gifts, the delegation visited research labs at the Institute for Biomedical Science. H.E. Berjan also had discussions with Vice-President YONEKURA Shinichi about possible cooperation in research areas relating to agriculture.
Two weeks earlier, a delegation from the University of East Sarajevo Faculty of Electronic Engineering visited the Shinshu University Faculty of Engineering on 31 January to discuss collaborative ventures, such as the exchange of research students.
The University looks forward with keen interest to seeing the results of the new academic exchanges and the deepening of the friendship between Bosnia-Herzegovina and Japan.
