Tribhuvan University visits Faculty of Education

On March 16, 2023, Prof. Dr. Chitra Bahadur Budhathoki, Dean of the Faculty of Education at Tribhuvan University, Nepal, and Sumitra Thapa, Secretary to the Dean and in charge of International Exchange at the Faculty, visited to Professor Muramatsu, Dean of the Faculty of Education at Shinshu University.
Tribhuvan University (TU) is one of the largest National Universities in Nepal, and its Faculty of Education is a center of educational practice and research, and produces human resources for educational administration in Nepal. Professor Bhimsen Devkota of TU and Associate Professor Sachi Tomokawa of Shinshu University's Faculty of Education have been conducting several joint research projects since 2011, and during this visit, they discussed the possibility of introducing the "EcoHealth Education" project, which promotes the Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) as entry points of environmental and health issues has been developed by Associate Professor Tomokawa, in the revised curriculum of the Faculty of Education at TU, and requested technical cooperation for the development and introduction of this curriculum.
