Research Theme
We study the mechanisms of neural circuit formation and regulation underlying higher brain functions, and how their disruption leads to neuropsychiatric disorders. We also develop functional biomaterials that support cellular function.

Message
Starting from fundamental research at the molecular, cellular, and tissue levels, we take on the challenge of understanding and controlling biological systems from an interdisciplinary perspective. We promote research that spans from basic science to application and societal implementation, aiming to contribute to solving medical and health issues faced by a super-aged society.

Bone and soft tissue sarcomas are rare cancer, and research and development of therapeutic agents have not progressed as much as in the case of carcinomas.
