Assistant Professor Akemi Kakino of the Institute for Biomedical Sciences has received a prestigious “2016 Abstract Award” in the division of “Lipoproteins and Vascular Diseases” from the 68th AACC Annual Scientific Meeting & Clinical Lab Expo that took place in Philadelphia, USA, from July 31st to August 4th, 2016. These awards are granted to outstanding research in their respective fields.
