Supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology of Japan since April 2015, the project aims to develop cyborg science, namely, a self-contained walking assistance device. This is the first grand-scale research endeavor for the Interdisciplinary Cluster for Cutting Edge Research. Representatives from Shinshu University outlined the project at the conference, which concluded with a question and answer session with the media.
A kickoff symposium for the near-future, self-contained, walking assistance cyborg project will be held at 1:30 pm on July 16th. The symposium will be open to the public. Please follow the URL below for the more information on this exciting event.
